My life is just crazy

So much has happened in the past few weeks- it's hard to explain it all. My oldest nephew Preston left for his mission on the 14th, another nephew Zack, graduated from Red Mtn. on the 22nd and we had our 4th wedding anniversary on the 27th! We are leaving for the weekend to celebrate- which I am in desperate need of! I have just been in a slump the past few weeks- just going through the motions, but not mentally or emotionally there, if that makes sense. Since I've dealt with anxiety and depression before- I know that I'm just having a little spell of it, but I'm happy to say that I feel like I'm coming out of it! This week has just felt like- could anything else possibly go wrong?! The washer in our rental property had to be repaired, and cost almost as much as just buying a new one, then we had our A/C serviced only to find out that needed to be replaced! So this morning we had the crew over to replace that. For those of you who haven't had to do that recently- it's quite the expensive little upgrade- so beware! Then I just dropped another $150 on a bike trailer(to help my babysitter get back and forth from my swim lessons) and $400 on hair supplies! It just never ends!! Just when you think you have a handle on things- something, (or in my case, just about everything) comes in to mess it all up. But I guess that's just life. Well here's some pics of our happenings......

Bounce U

Last Thursday we went to a birthday party for our friend Clint Rowley at the Bounce U. I had no idea how much fun it could be! What's great is even my little kids were able to play on the equipment. Granted, I had to haul them up the slides- but they had a great time. So if you are looking for a fun place to have a party or a family get together- check it out!! Thanks Clint and Kim for inviting us!!

Swimming

The first two weeks of April, my friend Kim got access to her neighbors heated pool- so we did swim lessons for her kids and mine. I was happy and surprised to see how quickly my kids caught on. Kate is quite the little fish. She loves to jump off the side and swim to me and has no problems going under the water and blowing bubbles. Clark had a rough start. He was really afraid at first, but after our 2 weeks he was swimming almost as good as his sister. Then on April 19th, the City of Mesa had their April Pools Day at Shepherd Jr. High and I decided to take Kate and Clark with my sisters Nancy and Bridgett. Nancy helped with the kids while Bridgett acted as photographer. (Thanks Bridge for all the great pictures!) So now that I have the pictures I can brag about how my kids are great swimmers! Take a look......

Our First Playdate

Sad, I know. My kids are 18months and just having their first play date. Tells you a bit about their mom- super busy and not as social as she should be! So thanks Kami for inviting us! They had lots of fun playing in the sand, but their favorite part was all the cool snacks! Kate was having a bad day, so she didnt enjoy it as much as her brother. I think the funniest thing happened when we got home. They were so tired that I gave them a little lunch and put them straight to bed. When they woke up, I changed their diapers and found quite the surprise. Clarks diaper was full of sand! Not only was it full of sand, but because he had it on for so long, the sand was stuck to him! I had to put him in the tub to rinse it off. I really wanted to take a picture- but I didnt think it was appropriate! Boys!
