6 Years

Today Ryan and I celebrate our 6th Anniversary. I know it sounds cheesy, but these six years have been the best of my life. Ryan is my best friend and I couldn't have asked for a better husband. We feel lucky that we have eachother and wish that every marriage could be as happy as ours.
Thanks Rye for 6 great years. I love you.

Homecoming/Farewell

Saturday afternoon my oldest nephew Preston, returned home from serving a mission for the LDS church. He served in Mexico City, Mexico for 2 years. It was so fun to be at the airport and see him walk toward this big group of family and not recognize anyone! I guess things change in 2 years! After the airport, per Preston's request- we went to Filbertos for lunch. You'd think after living in Mexico you wouldn't want Mexican food, but apparently what we know as Mexican food , is not what is served in Mexico City.
Sunday he gave his report in church, along with his brother Brighton, who gave his farewell address! Brighton will be leaving in about a week and half to serve a mission in London, England.
It was a good experience to hear both of them speak and bear their testimonies about what they know to be true. It reminded me so much of my mission, and the Spirit I had and felt while I served. It was very much a spiritual nudge, to remind me of the peace and knowledge that comes from doing the things daily that invite the Spirit into your life.
Welcome Home Preston!
Good Luck Brighton!

Swimming!

Every Monday, Wednesday and Friday my sister Nancy and I trade babysitting so we can both swim. She watches Kate and Clark in the morning while I swim and I watch Jack at noon while she swims. About 3 weeks ago she got a bubble tarp for her pool, and it has warmed up quite nice- about 85 degrees. So needless to say, I usually watch Jack at her house and we go swimming! Last Friday I finally took some pictures.

Here's the three amigos in our Tahoe driving to Nancy's

Kate - doing what she does best- making crazy faces

Clark's cheesy smile

As you can see I only take the cover off the play step- cuz thats the only place my kids want to swim anyways!
Thanks Nancy for having an awesome pool and letting us use it!

Every spring I have my sister- in-law Tiffany take pictures of Kate and Clark. I should do it on their birthday- but I'm just 6 months behind! Check out all of her great work at www.tiffanyhaynesphotography.blogspot.com
Thanks Tiffany!

Last Day of Dance

Today was Kate's last day of dance class. This is a video of the dance they learned. They usually practiced in a dance room, but today for some reason it was in this class room- so that's why it looks a bit odd. Way to go Kate!
